What information this website processes, why it is used, and how to make a privacy request.
Scope
A public information site with browser-based tools.
This privacy notice applies to Maple Ridge Housing Report. The site publishes housing information and provides general planning calculators. It does not contain a mortgage application, user account, newsletter signup or advertising tracker.
This notice does not govern external websites linked from the publication, including government, regulatory, data-provider or professional websites. Those services have their own privacy practices.
Information processed
Calculator entries stay in your browser.
The purchase-power and closing-cost calculators perform their calculations in your browser. The site does not transmit or store the values you enter, and those values do not create or submit a mortgage application.
When you visit the site, normal hosting and security infrastructure may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, referring information and security events. This information is used to deliver the site, maintain reliability, prevent abuse and investigate technical or security problems.
The housing-supply tracker may send a request from your browser to an external public-data service operated for the City of Maple Ridge. That service may receive normal technical request information under its own privacy terms.
Cookies & services
No advertising or behavioural analytics.
The publication does not currently use advertising cookies, behavioural profiling or Google Analytics. The hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, may use strictly necessary technologies to operate and protect the site.
Technical information may be processed by service providers in Canada or other jurisdictions and may be accessible to lawful authorities in those jurisdictions. Service-provider records are retained according to operational, security and legal requirements and are deleted or aggregated when no longer reasonably required.
If analytics, contact forms, subscriptions or advertising technologies are introduced, this notice will be updated before or when those features are activated, and consent choices will be provided where required.
Safeguards & choices
Limited collection and reasonable protection.
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used for information under the publication's control. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
You may ask whether the publication holds personal information about you, request access to or correction of that information, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a privacy concern. Some information may need to be retained or withheld where permitted or required by law.
